A proposed campaign in conjunction with Action On Hearing Loss charity to visualise hearing loss and promote testing of hearing. Conducted as part of YCN design awards. The minimal poster series aims to reach people in every day environments, quite often the environments people who suffer with hearing loss often struggle the most.
A decision was made to create the text in such a way it is difficult to read quickly, forcing people engage with the poster to decipher the text. This is a way of visualise hearing loss, and the struggle people suffering with the condition endeavour deciphering speech and other information.
I also proposed the posters emit an audible ringing sound, to mimic the sound of tinnitus. This is again to draw attention and engage people with the cost of living with hearing loss or chronic tinnitus.
